My name is Jim Lachaussie. I live in New Iberia, LA with my wife Marlene. New Iberia is a small city located in the Cajun Heartland. The beautiful Bayou Teche runs through the center of the city. The city is noted for its friendly people, The Shadows (an antebellum mansion that has been designated a national historic landmark), great Cajun food and spices (Tabasco is produced nearby), and huge ancient live oaks.
